Alex Leatherwood answers the question once and for all: Do you prefer cats or dogs?
Former Alabama Crimson Tide standout Alex Leatherwood got dealt one of the hardest hitting questions any human will have to answer: Cats or dogs?
Leatherwood told the NFL Network’s Andrew Siciliano that an NFL team actually asked him this question during the interview process. He said he was caught off-guard by it, but answered it honestly: Dogs. Who doesn’t love dogs? Siciliano loved this and had a little fun with the cliched question as old as time itself. Leatherwood followed up with “Who likes cats? Those are demons.”
I guess Leatherwood is not going to play for any of the big cat teams in the NFL anytime soon.

Alex Leatherwood proves that former Crimson Tide stars have no use for cats
When you play for a school where two of your biggest rivals are cats in Auburn and LSU, it is understandable if you don’t care for felines. Of course, four of Alabama’s other rival teams are dogs in Georgia, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas A&M. So it’s really just a quick question to get somebody to think. But how do the four NFL teams with cat mascots feel about his answer?
The good news for Leatherwood is the Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars aren’t the least bit good. The bad news is they can still draft him despite his comment. There would also be ample opportunity for a top college prospect like Leatherwood to compete right away on a rebuilding team. But if it’s dogs, then let’s go Cleveland Browns!
Leatherwood has the right to love dogs and think cats are demons because this is America.
