Denver Broncos veteran pass rusher Von Miller seems to be sending cryptic messages on Instagram as his future with the team hangs in the balance.
NFL free agency doesn’t officially start until March 17, and yet it has already seen some interesting situations this offseason.
While we prepare for the draft, trade rumors are keeping us busy. We still don’t know where Carson Wentz will land. The Houston Texans recently mutually agreed to part ways with their 10-year veteran J.J. Watt in a surprising move. Now it looks like another veteran on the defensive side of the ball may be on the move soon.
Denver Broncos pass rusher Von Miller seems to be sending cryptic messages on Instagram regarding his status with his team.
Miller went back 239 weeks on Instagram to change his caption on the 2016 post when he signed his new deal from For Life to “For Life,” likely hinting that his future with the team is uncertain.
Von Miller’s future with the Denver Broncos is unclear
Miller was drafted by the Broncos in 2011 and was the Super Bowl MVP in 2015 when they won it all with Peyton Manning. The eight-time Pro Bowler has been a staple of the Broncos defense over the last decade but it looks like his time with them may be coming to an end.
Miller is the only person to record more sacks than Watt since 2011. Their draft class was certainly one to remember with the likes of Watt, Miller, Cam Newton, Julio Jones and Patrick Peterson. Still, Miller has been one of the highest-performing players in the league.
Franchises will definitely have their eyes open for more information on Miller’s availability. Given the recruitment of Watt, teams would certainly be ready to jump at Miller.
