Ted Cruz is back in the United States after a quick trip to Cancun and after blaming his daughters on his trip.
The 50-year-old senator from Texas was slammed on Wednesday night (February 17) after a photo of him on a flight to Mexico was posted on Twitter.
Texas is in the middle of a giant crisis right now because of the winter storms, which have caused the power to go out across the state. Many people are dealing with floods, no heat, no water, and other issues.
Cruz claimed that he only traveled to Cancun to accompany his daughters on a trip with his friends and that he was planning on traveling back the next day.
Now, a new report has revealed what the senator’s original travel plans were.
