ONE on TNT 1: Adriano Moraes vs. Demetrious Johnson official weigh-in results.
There’s not too much time left before ONE Championship returns to live American television with the premiere of the ONE on TNT series — ONE on TNT 1 — on Wednesday, April 7. It’s a card topped by current ONE flyweight champion Adriano Moraes defending the championship against former longtime UFC flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson.
Before all 12 fighters competing on the card can enter the cage, however, they’ll first have to successfully get through the official weigh-ins.
Moraes is currently in his third reign as ONE flyweight champion. Both times he gained the championship, he would only make one successful defense before dropping it in a split decision. Moraes’s current reign began in January 2019, defeating Geje Eustaquio in a trilogy bout to take the gold once again. This is the most recent bout on Moraes’s record.
Johnson became the inaugural UFC flyweight champion in September 2012 at UFC 152 and made a UFC-record 11 consecutive defenses before losing the title to Henry Cejudo. After being traded to ONE Championship in late 2018, Johnson defeated Yuya Wakamatsu, Tatsumitsu Wada and Danny Kingad to win the ONE Flyweight Grand Prix and title shot.
Prior to Moraes and Johnson on the main card will be the co-main event featuring another former UFC champion in Eddie Alvarez, as he takes on Iuri Lapicus.
The main card will open with a catchweight Muay Thai bout between ONE flyweight Muay Thai champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Danial Williams.
