My guess would be that Russ plays tonight and rests tomorrow. The Wizards plan on resting him in back to backs for a good portion of the season. Considering Russ has been off since Wednesday, I’m guessing he’ll rest on Sunday. The same is true of Bertans. Since he’s not coming back from an ailment, my guess is they’ll play him tonight and depending on his minutes load will then decide what to do with him tomorrow.
I started doing the trifecta last year where at the request of a reader I tried to predict the top three scorers of the night. I got all three right twice, but they were never in the right order. I’m not one to give up that easily, so I’ll do it again. Christmas was a total bust with Giannis having an off day and Kawhi leaving early. A.D. only hit 50, but that was good enough for third. Kyrie and Zion led the way.
Tonight I’m going with Harden, Lillard, and Sabonis.
