Macaulay Culkin is weighing on a petition that is circulating on social media.
Amid talk of getting Donald Trump removed from the White House, people on Twitter are more interested in getting the President digitally removed from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
In the 1992 Christmas movie, Kevin McAllister (Culkin) makes his way through the Plaza Hotel lobby looking for the exit. He then goes up to Trump who gives him directions to the front door.
If you didn’t know, Trump purchased the Plaza Hotel in 1988 before selling it in 1995.
Now, fans are petitioning to get Trump removed from the movie – and Macaulay is in full support of that plan.
“Petition to digitally replace trump in ‘home alone 2’ with 40-year-old macaulay culkin,” one fan tweeted, while Macaulay wrote back, “Sold.”
Another fan tweeted an edited clip with Trump (poorly) removed from the scene, and Macaulay reacted, writing, “Bravo.”
Back in December 2019, this country removed Trump’s scene from their broadcast of Home Alone 2 – and he wasn’t happy about it.
