Josh Jacobs has been charged with a DUI. However, when asked about it, he denied the allegations.
Josh Jacobs might be one of the better running backs in the NFL, but he’s not above the law. On Monday, he found out the hard way.
The Las Vegas Raiders running back was arrested early in the morning for suspicion of driving while impaired following a single-car accident near McCarran Airport just outside of Las Vegas. The crash took place around 4:00 a.m. local time and police stated that Jacobs was impaired and transported to a local hospital.
The second-year running back was later released from police custody and is scheduled for a court appearance on March 8.

However, what might be crazier than Jacobs walking away nearly unscathed, is the recent report from his camp. According to his lawyers, there has yet to be a complaint filed.
But…there most certainly was one filed mere hours ago.
“We intend to enter a not guilty plea on behalf of Mr. Jacobs if he is ever charged,” Jacobs’ lawyers stated, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
A headache of concerns for Jacobs and the Raiders
The Raiders have issued a statement and are aware of the situation as the season comes to a close. The Pro Bowl running back had 89 yards and scored two touchdowns in the Raiders’ 32-31 victory over the Denver Broncos, surpassing 1,000 yards for the second-straight season.
Although Jacobs could have a case, he’s in for a fight. And now, this becomes a concern for the franchise moving into a prove-it offseason for many.
It’s always something with the Raiders.
