Demi Lovato isn’t holding back.
The 28-year-old “Give Your Heart a Break” singer is speaking about her overdose in a trailer for her upcoming documentary Demi Lovato: Dancing With The Devil, which arrived Wednesday (February 17) ahead of the documentary’s March 23 premiere on YouTube.
“I had three strokes. I had a heart attack. My doctors said that I had five to ten more minutes,” Demi shared about her near fatal overdose in 2018.
“I’ve had a lot of lives. I’m like a cat, you know? I’m on my ninth life. I’m ready to get back to doing what I love, which is making music. I’m not living my life for other people or their headlines or their Twitter comments,” she went on to say.
The new docu-series will also share footage from her last all the way up to the present, including talking about her engagement, and showing her drastic new haircut. It was also revealed that she’s heading back to television.
