Whether your children just destroyed the tree by playing “Indiana Jones” or your Grandmother ruined dinner because of a measuring mishap, you may need Walgreens on Christmas.
So Grandma no longer knows the difference between a teaspoon and a tablespoon. There are worse things in this world for sure, but now all of your sides are ruined for Christmas dinner. Maybe your oldest taught your youngest all about Indiana Jones and they decided to climb the tree as if it were a game, only for it topple over and wreck all the ornaments before the family video call. So now you need to replace at least one side of the tree. You aren’t going to find many places to run to, but the good news for you, Walgreens is open.
Yes, you read that right, Walgreens will be open on Christmas Day! So if you need ornaments, last-minute side dishes, and an even more last-minute gift, or just daily supplies whose need may have snuck up on you, Walgreens is the place to go to. Be advised, though: Most stores will have adjusted holiday hours.
No matter if it’s a usual 24-hour store or not, most Walgreen facilities will see a change in operating hours that the store is open. Most stores will only be open until about 6 p.m., so be sure to get to Walgreens quickly if you need to get something for your Christmas day. Otherwise, just wait until the Dec. 26 and then go in.
Pharmacies may be open on Christmas Day, though that may change from location to location so call ahead.
