The Indianapolis Colts will have a roster ready to rumble in 2021. If they add these players, they should be ready to go.
When Chris Ballard took over as the Indianapolis Colts’ general manager, things were not right with the franchise. Ryan Grigson nearly destroyed Andrew Luck and the team was without a clue which direction to go in.
One year later, Indianapolis is in the divisional round of the postseason.
Since Frank Reich’s tenure, the Colts have been in the middle of the pack. Philip Rivers was always a rental option for the future. Meanwhile, the offensive line has been their bread and butter, helping the team solidify its status as a ground and pound run offense.
Unfortunately, they were halted by the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round.
Things could be looking up for the future leaders of the AFC South, but it starts with a strong offseason. Will they look for another quarterback? Can they keep veteran talent? There are multiple names that should be on the market to call Indianapolis home.
These three options would significantly help.

The Colts’ offensive line will be the reason they are successful with an aging quarterback or not. They also aren’t without their flaws for the long haul.
Anthony Castonzo has been a staple of the team since he arrived in 2011. He made a career out of being the blindside protector for Luck during his entire career with the fanbase. Unfortunately, he’s 32 and will be undergoing ankle surgery this offseason.
The Colts agreed to a two-year deal with the former star left tackle but could free up some cap space by releasing him this offseason. Meanwhile, Daryl Williams is having a revival year as a member of the Buffalo Bills’ offensive line. His stock has skyrocketed after an injured-plagued career with the Carolina Panthers.
Should Castonzo retire or leave, this would be a quality bargain find on the open market. A one- or two-year deal to prove Williams can remain healthy would help Rivers or whoever would be the next quarterback in line. The offensive line will be a need for the future, and Williams might be a quiet gem.
